Susanna Pitzer: Hello. My name is Susanna Pitzer. I like the Z sounds in my name, even those my name only has one Z, which is in Pitzer. I share my first name, Susanna, with many people in history. Susanna is a very old Hebrew name. There's even a Book of Susanna in some versions of the Bible. William Shakespeare named his first daughter Susanna. There was a Susanna who gave birth while traveling to America on the Mayflower. A Susanna was the first woman elected mayor in the United States and my great-grandmother was a Susanna, even though, for some reason, she went by the name Barbara. But, the best thing about being a Susanna is that I have my own song. Oh, Susanna. And I love it when kids tell me, "Hey, we sang your song in school today."
