Cynthia von Buhler: Hello, my name is Cynthia von Buhler. It is pronounced beau, like beautiful, Buh-ler. Cynthia means moon goddess is Greek and von Buhler means, of a small hill, in German. My name means, the mood goddess of the small hill. I wasn't always Cynthia von Buhler. I was born Cynthia Carrozza, and my family called mt Cindy.

Carrozza, means horse drawn carriage, in Italian. A long time ago, I married Adam Buhler and we bought a big purple Victorian house in Boston. I painted the walls with deep jewel tones, like ruby red and emerald green. The house was decorated with gothic antiques and unique old objects.

A friend of mine visited our house and dubbed it castle von Buhler. The house name stuck, and people started calling me Cynthia von Buhler, so I'm named after a house. I'm now married to a violinist named Russel Farhang. Farhang means, the dictionary, in Farsi. My full name is Cynthia Carrozza von Buhler Farhang but you can call me Cynthia von Buhler.
