Anne Mazer: Hello. My name is Anne Mazer. Mazer rhymes with phaser, laser, and taser, which makes it sound like a science fiction name to me.
My middle name is Elizabeth. Once my best friend and I started a club for girls who had the middle name of Elizabeth. There are quite a lot of us, you know. We called it The Elizabeth Club. I still enjoy meeting new members. I always liked the name Anne Elizabeth. When I was really, really mad at my parents, I still thought, at least they gave me the right name.
