Karen Krossing: Hello, my name is Karen Krossing. That's Krossing with a K. I was born Karen Ross and I married a man with the last name King. We came up with the idea of combining our two last names into Krossing when we were about to have our first child. We wanted to all have the same name, so we took the K from King, then added Ross, then added I-N-G from King to make the new name Krossing. I like the name Krossing, although I've always wished for a more exotic first name. To me, Krossing suggests the crossing or intertwining of two lives. I also like that we made up the name ourselves.
