Nina Crews: Hello. My name is Nina Crews. My father is Donald Crews; perhaps you've read some of his books, also. Our Crews came from North Carolina, but we don't know where the name originally comes from. As a kid, I liked it when I would be called La Niña after Columbus's ship, and even now I'm pleased that my first name is often in the crossword puzzle.
