Monica Brown: Hello, my name is Monica Brown. Hola, me llamo Monica Brown. I was named by my mother who grew up in South America in Peru, and so my entire childhood she called me Monica, or Monikita. She had all sorts of little nicknames for me. And I love the way my name sounds in Spanish. My father was born in North America here in the United States, and so he always called me Monica. So I grew up answering to both names. And I will answer to either version of my name, Monica or Monica, whatever you would like to call me.
