Janie Lancaster: Hello. My name is Janie Lancaster. Some people pronounce it Lancaster. Others say Lancaster. But I've lived in so many different states, people pronounce it differently. Doesn't really matter to me. I think it depends on where you live, so you can say it any way you like, Janie Lancaster. My real name is Jane, but I changed it to Janie, and the reason was is because when I was a little girl, you know how kids sometimes make fun of other kids, and they would always say, "Jane the pain. Jane in the rain." So I got tired of people making fun of my name Jane, so I started to call myself Janie. It was a little harder to rhyme with all these things, so the name just kind of stuck with me, Janie. So my name is Janie Lancaster.
