Xuan Le: Hello, I'm Xuan Le. My last name is Le and my first name is Xuan. Le is actually a pretty popular last name in Vietnam, but it can sometimes be confused, and written as Lee. I can really understand this, because if you don't live in my country, you might not be familiar with the common surnames here. If you add an extra E, the pronunciation changes completely. Lee and Le sound different. So my last name is definitely just one E, pronounced as "Le".

My name, Xuan, means spring, but I was also born in the fall, near the end of the year. Seeing I live in Southern Vietnam, we really only have two seasons, dry and rainy. I thought that, if my mom want to name me based on the season accurately, my name would probably be Rain. But in the end, my mom still named me Xuan, likely because spring brings the meaning of joy and hope.
