Janet Tashjian: Hello, my name is Janet Tashjian, which is often pronounced tash-GEE-in, or tash-JIN, and my all time favorite, Tarzan. I never thought about changing my name when I got married, but the word was very attractive with it's J-I-A-N all in a row. I just really liked the word, so I liked it so much, I ended up taking it. Kids always ask me about the background of the word Tashjian. It's Armenian.
