Anita Clark: Hello, my name is Anita Crawford Clark.
My name Anita was given to me by my parents because initially they wanted to name me after my grandmother whose name was Onita. But one of my uncles named his daughter that. She was born a little bit before I was, so they chose the name Anita, spelled A-N-I-T-A. And Anita means graceful and merciful. And I certainly hope that I am that always.
