Before I was born, I was either going to be named Joshua or Joanna. You know how that turned out. My mother loves the name Joanna, and while she didn't choose Joanna because it starts with a J, it did seem a fun way to join a family together.

My middle name is Kathlyn, K-A-T-H-L-Y-N, a somewhat unusual version of Katherine. Kathlyn was my maternal grandmother's middle name, too. And, of course, I have a nickname. My closest friends and family call me Josie, conveniently another J.
