Malia Maunakea: Aloha. My name is Malia Maunakea. My first name rhymes with Maria. My full name is Malia Anuhea Maunakea, which means the calm, cool, fragrant, upland breeze of Maunakea. Maunakea means white mountain and is the tallest mountain on the island of Hawaii. It got me teased a lot in elementary school, but I came to appreciate it.
