Priyanka Taslim: Hello, my name is Priyanka Taslim. I am actually the oldest daughter within my family, the oldest child, just like Zara, my protagonist in The Love Match, and the name Priyanka means " to be loved", and so I always think about that, the fact that my parents, when they were naming me, they wanted to give me this name that meant that I was treasured and loved and I've always felt that love and support from them.

And the funny thing about my name, oftentimes, Bengali people have more than one name.
They have what's called a dak nam, which is the name that their family calls them, the people closest to them, and for me, that's Priyanka. And then they have what's called a bhalo nam, or a good name, which is typically their legal name.

So when it came to writing, it was really easy for me to decide to use this dak nam that I was already familiar with, because sometimes I think when authors
have 10 names, it's hard to get used to that name, but for me, Priyanka was always a part of my identity. In fact, it was what I was called before I was called anything else by my family.

So that's just my fun little facts about Bengali names and where my name comes from.
