Rie Neal: My name is Rie Neal, and Rie is spelled R-I-E, and it's short for Marie. And I actually went my whole life being called Marie for the longest time. And then my husband was the one who first started calling me Rie, and I really liked the nickname. No one had ever given me a nickname before. And it felt more me than Marie ever did. Marie always felt traditional. It's a pretty name, but traditional, and Rie feels a little bit more, I don't know, unpredictable to me. I really like the name Rie, and then of course I get my last name from my husband -- Neal, N-E-A-L.
