Annette Schottenfeld: Hello. My name is Annette Schottenfeld. Annette is of French and Hebrew origin and comes from the name Ann. I was named after my great-grandmother Annie. Annette means grace or gracious. My last name was originally Bernstein, but now I use my married name, Schottenfeld. Schottenfeld is very long and has twelve letters. I usually have to spell it out for people, and many mispronounce it. Most people think it starts with the same SCAH sound as in school, but it's more like the SHH sound of when you should be quiet in the library. If you ignore the letter C, it is easier to say, Schottenfeld. I like my name because it is unique. It is pronounced Annette Schottenfeld.
