Mary Ann Noe: Hello. My name is Mary Ann Noe. I was named after my grandmother, Mary Ann. When I married, I went from a nine-letter last name to just three letters. I have a lot of fun with my name because when people ask me to spell my first name, I say, "Mary Ann, two words, no E." Then they ask me for my last name and I say, "Noe." "Yes, I know the answer. I didn't put on an E." I get the last laugh, however, when I respond, "No, that's my last name, Noe." Some get it and laugh. For others, the joke just goes over their heads. I love my name.
