Elizabeth Bergeland: My name is Elizabeth Bergeland, pronounced Bergland. It is a Norwegian name and Norwegians pronounce it Berg-e-land, which means mountain land, which is quite suiting, because I'm from Colorado. I went by Lizzy until about fifth grade. Those who knew me in middle school and high school, I was Liz, and then I finally felt grown up enough when I hit college to go by Elizabeth.
