Marjorie Agosin: My name is Marjorie Agosin. It may sound a bit strange, because I am from Chile, from South America, but I was born in the United States, in Bethesda, Maryland. When I was three months old I went back to Chile with my parents.
My mother used to watch this TV show called, "My Little Marjorie." My Little Marjorie was a very mischievous, young girl. This is why she named me Marjorie.
