Julie Mata: Hello, my name is Julie Mata. Mata is my married name, and funny thing about it: "mata" actually in Spanish is a verb that means "kill." So I always figured it was a good thing that I'm an author and not a doctor in Latin America somewhere, because then I would be Dr. Kill, and I probably wouldn't have a lot of patients. So that's my name, Julie Mata.
