When I met my husband Matt Bird, I did realize, and this was long before I was even dating him, that if I married him, my name could be Betsy Bird and since I wasn't even certain at the time I wanted to be a children's librarian, I still wanted this name desperately. As it turned out, turned out to be a great name and the only other Betsy Bird you're going to find out there, besides a couple random people here and there, is a Muppet from the Muppet Show I believe starring Vincent Price, she was referred to as Betsy Bird.
