Julie Halpern: Hello, my name is Julie Halpern. Some people pronounce my name Halperin. They insert an extra I or Halpren, but it's Halpern, and I was a school librarian for more than 10 years and a lot of my students actually thought my name was Miss Helper because it was easier for them to remember since I was always helping them.
