Erin Cabatingan: Hello. My name is Erin Cabatingan. Cabatingan is my married name. My husband is half Filipino and that's where the name comes from, the Philippines. It's a name that people often mispronounce. The most common mispronunciation is cuh-ba-ti-gan, but I've heard people say it all sorts of ways, including Cappuccino. Because my name is Filipino and I'm not, I can't quite pronounce it right. There's a sound at the end that I can't get my mouth to make, but I figure it's my name now, so I can pronounce it or mispronounce it how I want.
