P.J. Sarah Collins: Hello, my name is P.J. Sarah Collins. The P.J. stands for Patty-Jill, and I can hear you saying, "Patty what?" and that essentially sums up every conversation starter I've ever had since I learned to talk. I'm delighted to report that after years of searching, I've been able to successfully Google other Patty Jills, though none with hyphens.

A year or so ago when I tried, not one entry popped up, just to give you an indication of how rarely this name combination is put together. Patty-Jill is a beautiful name, but I much prefer it when my family and friends call me P.J., the name I used as a teen, a competitive national athlete on the trampoline, and later as a university student. But Sarah is my simple, anonymous, grown-up teacher work name, and I love it that I never have to explain what it stands for.
