Elizabeth Winthrop: Hello. My name is Elizabeth Winthrop. I was named after my great-grandmother because I was born the same day, September 14th, 99 years later. She was born September 14th, 1849, and I was born September 14th, 1948. I love the fact that I have Winthrop as my writing name because I'm down on the bookshelf, very near your toes, between or right next to Laura Ingalls Wilder and EB White, who are two of my favorite authors. Thank you.
