Steve Sheinkin: Hello, my name Steve Sheinkin . Family lore tells that my great-grandfather and his brother tracked from Poland to Palestine in the early 1900s, and it was there that they changed the name from Shaboshnik, to Steve Sheinkin, which is actually quite easy to spell and pronounce, in Hebrew that is. The brothers eventually split up. One stayed in Israel and the other came to America and there have been Sheinkins in both places ever since.
