Francisco X. Stork: Hello, my name is Francisco X. Stork. I was born in Mexico and people always come up to me and say, Stork is not a Spanish name and they're right. Stork is a Dutch name and the reason I got it is because my mother was a single mother in Mexico and when I was six years old, Charlie Stork met my mother and adopted me. I also get asked about the X. X stands for Xavier in English, but in Mexico they called me Xavier and Xavi, when I was growing up because X has a H sound, like happy. When I came to the United States, when I was 9 years old, people began to call me Francisco because it was easier to pronounce. I don't mind being called Francisco or Xavier or FX like I was called in college. I'm happy with all my names.
