When people see the spelling of my first name with that unusual E sticking out at the end, they sometimes think my name is pronounced Kell-yee or Kell-yay, like Kanye. But it is really just Kellye. My mom got the spelling from my Aunt Jerrye, who spelled her name Y-E at the end. And my cousin Terrye was born a year before me and Terrye had a Y-E, so I think my mom, I don't know if she thought we would be part of a club or something, or start a trend, I'm not really sure. But a lot of people misspell my name, and I've certainly gotten used to it by now and it doesn't bother me. So if you accidentally misspell or mispronounce my name, no worries.
