Julia Cairns: Hello. My name is Julia Cairns. That is C-A-I-R-N-S. Cairns is a Scottish name but my ancestry is more Irish so I'm not quite sure where the name comes from originally. A cairn is a pile of stones so I guess my name means many piles of stones.
Americans seem to have a very hard time pronouncing this name. They say cans or corns but it is actually Cairns. I hope you can practice that and say my name properly, Julia Cairns.
