Edward Bloor: Hello, this is Edward Bloor, and my name is pronounced the same as 'floor,' in most of the English speaking world. But just to confuse you, it's pronounced a little bit differently in Canada.
I was up in Toronto and they have a big street with my name on it, and they pronounce it, 'bluer.' As in, "My eyes are bluer than yours." So anywhere except Canada though, it's Bloor.
