Anyway, my parents chose my first name from the John Wayne character of Michael "Guns" Donovan from the movie Donovan's Reef. They almost named me Donovan, but decided on Michael in the end. My middle name is a family name that has been passed down to sons for many generations, and my last name is English and was an extremely common name in every part of Western Europe during the Middle Ages.
