I chose my name because it actually happens to be my maiden name, and what I really like being an author is that some authors choose pen names, so the fun thing is my maiden name actually has the word pen in it. So, that's why I decided to stick with my maiden name.

However, the initials are my first name and my married name, and I chose to have initials because one of my favorite authors also chose to have initials for her author name, and that's L. M. Montgomery. So, that is the story behind my name, K. W. Penndorf.
