Tracy Trivas: Hello, my name is Tracy Trivas, and it's Trivas, not Travis. I get called Tracy Travis all the time, but it is Trivas. When I was a little girl, I always swore that I would never change my name, that whether I got married or not, I was going to keep my name 'cause it was my name, it was the name I was born with. And years later, when I did get married, I had to make that choice. And the truth is, I loved my husband's and my potentially new name. I loved that it started with T and had a second letter R and it had that alliteration with my first name, and so I did change it. And to this day, I get terribly teased by my family that I was that girl that would never change it, and I did, and they said I did it for love of alliteration, and I like to think I did it for both, love and alliteration, or the love of alliteration. And I don't think there's any writer around that doesn't love a little alliteration. So, that's my story.
