Cybèle Young: Hello. My name is Cybèle Young. My mom first discovered the name in a French movie from the early 1970s titled Sundays and Cybèle, which was Les dimanches avec Cybèle. It's a beautiful and tragic story of an orphan girl who's befriended by a young war veteran. My dad also liked the name because he had studied classics, and Cybèle, pronounced KYBELE, was the ancient Greek goddess who was the earth mother, and they had already named my brother Justinian after an ancient emperor. When I was little I loved my name, because my French teachers told me Cybèle meant "so beautiful."
