Clare Vanderpool: Hello, my name is Claire Vanderpool. That's easy enough to pronounce. The challenging part for me regarding my name is that Claire is not my first name, it's my middle name. My full name is Mary Claire, but my dad is the only one who still calls me by both names. In fact when I was in high school and friends would call and say, "Is Claire there?" My dad would say, "Do you mean Mary Claire?" I like the name Claire, it has served me well for many years.
