Steve Watkins: Hi, my name is Steve Watkins. My full name is Steven Hume Watkins. When I was a kid though, they called me Stevie and I hated it. I hated that whole diminutive Stevie thing and yet they wouldn't stop and they wouldn't stop. When I was about six years old, my parents, my mom especially loved telling this story. I marched into the kitchen when I got called for dinner, and I just stood there fuming, and I said, "My name is Steve or Steven, and I don't want anybody to call me Stevie anymore." And from that day on, God bless them, my family never called me Stevie again.
