Julia Sarcone-Roach: Hi. My name is Julia Sarcone-Roach. I was named after my great-grandmother, Julia, who was a painter. Sarcone is Italian, but by way of Iowa. That's why it's pronounced Sarcone instead of Sarcone, and Roach is Irish. There's only one other Sarcone-Roach in the whole world, I'm pretty sure, and that's my brother Michael.
