Sam wakes up to find it is raining. He loves using his big imagination while playing in the rain. Granddad's sentiments are not the same, he requests Sam be patient for the rain to stop. So, Sam waits and watches his beautifully illustrated watercolor world from his dry window. Soon Granddad is ready to mail the very important letter that he has been writing all day. Alas, the pair step out of their home for their most exciting adventure yet.
