In this picture book biography of Keith Haring, Keith is just too busy drawing to answer the many “why” questions put to him by teachers, friends, family members, and others. Keith began drawing when he was a child, encouraged and mentored by his father. As the refrain says, Keith “just kept drawing” for the entirety of his life: he doodled on tests in elementary school, sold his bike to buy art supplies, gave his paintings away for free in high school.
