Scaredy Squirrel never leaves his safe tree so he will not have to bump into dangers like tarantulas, green Martians, killer bees, sharks, germs, and poison ivy. His life is routinely the same. He is prepared for any crises with his emergency kit, which contains items that will help him deal with the above list of foes. However, one day a real killer bee approaches, and pan icked, Scaredy Squirrel knocks his emergency kit out of the tree and has to jump into the unknown to retrieve it. Incredibly, on his way down he discov ers he is a flying squirrel and that his list of dangers will not bother him any time soon. He alters his safe routine to include flying into the unknown ad venture of each day.
